Went on to play in 20 games, averaging 13.2 points, 4.9 rebounds and 2.4 assists in 34.7 minutes per game ... Scored a career-high 26 points on 12/12 at Phoenix, and had consecutive games of 20 points against Miami on 12/23, 23 points against the Clippers on 12/27 and 20 points against Portland on 12/29 ... On 12/30, suffered a dislocated right shoulder in a game against Detroit and went back on the injured list ... 1994-1995:
Established himself as a bona fide NBA starter in 1994-95 before an injury ended his season on 4/1 ... Rounded out a fine frontcourt that included Larry Johnson and Alonzo Mourning ... On the defensive end, put up good numbers, finishing second on the team in total blocked shots (40) while ranking third on the club in steals (1.15 per game) and rebounding (5.7 rpg) ... On the offensive end, made great strides, averaging 11.5 points, a jump of nearly 7.0 points from his rookie season ... In an outstanding college career at the University of Connecticut, scored 13.1 points per game over four seasons and made his mark as a defensive specialist ... Finished college as the only player in NCAA Division I history to top 1,500 points, 750 rebounds, 275 assists, and 300 steals ... His total of 310 steals set a Connecticut record ... Left as the school's No. 2 shotblocker and No. 8 scorer ... Is also an accomplished baseball player ... In 1989, was a first-round pick of the Seattle Mariners in the amateur baseball draft ...
