Brooklyn Nets to Open Barclays Center vs. Knicks

BROOKLYN, N.Y.— The Brooklyn Nets will commence their inaugural 2012-13 season at Barclays Center on Thursday, November 1 when they entertain the New York Knicks in a nationally televised contest on TNT, with tip off slated for 7:00 pm. The season opener will be the first of 17 nationally televised games for Brooklyn, as the team will appear on TNT three times, ESPN nine times and NBATV five times over the course of the upcoming campaign. Last season, the Nets did not appear on either TNT or ESPN.
Brooklyn will play on TNT again during the first month of the season on Thursday, November 15 when they play host to the Boston Celtics at 8:00 p.m., and also on Thursday, April 4 when they host the Chicago Bulls at Barclays Center at 7:00 p.m.
Kevin Durant and the Oklahoma City Thunder make their lone trip to Brooklyn on Tuesday, December 4 (7:30 p.m.), part of a four-game homestand that will see the Nets host Golden State on Friday, December 7 (7:30 p.m.), Milwaukee on Sunday, December 9 (6:00 p.m.) and New York on Tuesday, December 11 (7:00 p.m.-ESPN).
The World Champion Miami Heat visit Barclays Center on Wednesday, January 30 (8:00 p.m.-ESPN), also part of a four-game homestand that will see the Nets play host to Orlando on Monday, January 28(7:30 p.m.), Miami on the 30th, the Chicago Bulls on Friday, February 1 (7:30 p.m.) and the
