Jazz to Open 2009 NBA Playoffs Sunday in Los Angeles

SALT LAKE CITY (April 16, 2009) –The Utah Jazz will open the 2009 NBA Playoffs against the Los Angeles Lakers on Sunday, April 19 at STAPLES Center in Los Angeles. The game will be televised nationally on ABC. The game will also be broadcast live on KFAN (1320 AM), the Jazz Radio Network and ESPN Radio.

The 2009 Playoffs will mark the third straight playoff appearance for the Jazz, and the 23rd in the last 26 seasons. The Jazz has advanced past the first round of the playoffs each of the last two seasons.
