Utah Jazz Open Outdoor Basketball Courts
Salt Lake City, Utah (July 11, 2006) – The Utah Jazz and Larry H. Miller Charities partnered with Salt Lake County Parks and Recreation to build two outdoor basketball courts at the Redwood and Taylorsville City Recreation Centers. Jazz players Rafael Araujo, C.J. Miles and community representatives participated in a ribbon-cutting ceremony to celebrate the new court located at the Redwood Recreation Center in West Valley.

Larry H. Miller Charities is a nonprofit foundation set up in 1995 to operate as the charitable division of the Larry H. Miller group of companies. Giving focuses on programs that assist children, with an emphasis on health and education. LHM Charities has partnered with several cities along the Wasatch Front to build outdoor basketball courts accessible to the general public yearlong.
