The HEAT Dancers exceptional talent, fiery personalities and sizzling good looks keep basketball fans ablaze during every home game. What's more, five HEAT Dancer alumna have been catapulted into the international limelight: ABC's original Bachelorette, Trista Rehn, Pussycat Dolls sultry vocalist, Jessica Sutta, WWEs winner of the 2006 $250,000 Diva Search, Layla El, Suitcase #15 model, Brooke Long, of NBC's Deal or No Deal, and Johanna Gomez, former host of the MUN2 show, Fuzion, current host of CABLETAP TV, Miami-Dades Public Access TV Channel, and a reporter for NBC6's Access HEAT. The Miami HEAT Dancers skill, dedication and professionalism are second to none. They have appeared in magazines, music videos and commercials. All share a deep passion for entertaining. The keep long hours, juggling practice schedules, college schedules, careers and families. Their appeal is international in scope. Last season alone they made appearances in London, Istanbul, Germany, and China. And they took center court at the 2006 NBA All-Star Game in Houston the first time the League has extended such an invitation to an individual NBA dance team.
