COMMUNITY ASSIST PROGRAM
In conjunction with Akron Children's Hospital and Longbridge Wealth Advisors
The Canton Charge and Akron-based Longbridge Wealth Advisors have teamed up to benefit the Akron Children’s Hospital with their "assist" program. Longbridge provides a charitable cash donation to the hospital for every assist that the Charge have made in home games throughout the last two seasons.
The program has been a tremendous success after being initiated at the start of the 2012-13 season. The Charge have dished out over 1,400 assists in home games during the program's duration, resulting in over $33,000 by Longbridge that is used by Akron Children’s Hospital in order to enhance their care and facilities used by thousands of families throughout Northeast Ohio.
