D-Fenders Hire Madsen

The L.A. D-Fenders have hired Mark Madsen, a nine-year NBA veteran who won two NBA titles with the L.A. Lakers, to replace Reggie Theus at the helm. The Philadelphia 76ers have purchased the right to own and operate an NBA D-League team that will play in Newark, Delaware, named the Delaware 87ers.
