See what your fellow Trail Blazers fans are saying:
"I think the Trail Blazers should firstly draft a good PG because Damon Stoudamire will be free-agent next year. At #13 they could take Jameer Nelson or
Sebastian Telfair.
Next, with #23 the team should take a swingman. Sergej Monya, Luke Jackson or Kirk Snyder could be possibilities.
I don't think the team should draft a swingman high school player because we have two prospects with Woods and Outlaw at these positions.
And our C position is not so bad with Ratliff, Davis and Stepania. So the priority must be the back-court."
-Mathieu
"We definitely need to deepen our point guard spot. We should pick Sebastian Telfair with #13 pick. He has great vision of the court and has very fast legs and arms. I'm pretty sure he is gonna be next Allen Iverson.
Luke Jackson is a very good player but he is not very athletic player and he is 4 years older than Sebastian. I think Sebastian will fit team better than Luke in a long run. ."
-Alexey
"I think Blazers should draft
Anderson Varejao at 13. He's tall, strong, and has very good shot for a 7'10'' man. Still he is a player with some years of experience in Europe, and I think he's ready to contribue right now.
I saw him playing for brazilian team some times and I was realy impressed!."
-Mario
"I think the Blazers should pick Josh Childress with the 13th pick if he's not taken by then, but if he's still out we should pick him up c'mon now we all now what happened with Jermiane O'neal. Childress is exactly what the blazers need a good ball handler that is a big man who also can bust the 3.
Also Delonte West and Jameer Nelson , and LUKE JACKSON BABY would be perfect to add depth and back up to Damon and Anderson. What the Blazers shouldn't do is go after ANOTHER big guy we have Ratlif and Z-BO up there what else do we need? best shot blocker in the league and MR. Double-Double."
-Salvador
"The Blazers need to look for an SF, and a back up C. The blazers at 13, should look either for Luke Jackon, a hometown, proven SF who could match up with some of the best in the NBA. With his slashing, passing, and shooting range.

Or if Luke is not available, take Sebastian Telfair, the Standout high school PG who will probably be overlooked for his size. Damon was also questioned because of his size. But look at him!
At pick 23 the Blazers should go for the high school center
Robert Swift. He reminds of of a Theo Ratliff with more offense. He likes to throw the ball down as much as he can, and if you run him and Theo at C and Pf, you could have one of the most dominant frontcourts in the NBA.
With pick 44 the Blazers should go for Blake Stepp, everyone overlooked him just because of a bad ncca tournament. Well that doesn't account for his oustanding outside game and leadership on the court. Blake Stepp could run any NBA team as well as any PG in the NBA."
-Clint
"Portland should go after one of the guards from Arizona, because they
would fit right in with the type of style the Blazers play, and the
players are going to be a steal beause they are so athletic."
-kristic
"I like J.R Smith , Shaun Livingston or Jamer Nelson at pick 13. I think we have to take the best guy available and not go by position.
At #23 ,I like Sebastian Telfair, Al Jefferson or Luke Jackson. Our 2nd round pick we should try trading our 2nd round pick along with a future one for
Chris Duhon. Andre Emmett is a nice choice also. Good luck!"
-David
"Chris Duhon can also give the Blazers offense. Chris is really explosive off the dribble and can really get to the hoop. He's a hustler, he'll give up his body for the team. And he's a great shooter, he can dribble and shoot and he can catch and shoot. He can nail the 3 pointer, I know the NBA is different from the NCAA, plus the weight of the ball, but he has touch and he has range.
With the 23rd pick, the Blazers should pick Oregon's Luke Jackson or UConn's Ben Gordon. Luke is very aggressive on the offensive end and has tenacious defense. Ben Gordon has a very sweet touch. He guided UConn with his terrific shooting and great leadership to the Natioal Championship with his teammate Emeka Okafor. Take consideration into these thoughts. If you don't pick them, it won't disappoint me or make me mad. I would just like to see the Blazers go all the way."
-Justin
"You guys need to get
Luke Jackson.
He may not jump out of the gym or be lightning
quick. but when he gets going he can take over,
and he can win.."
-Klint
"Blazers should be looking at one of two positions point guard or shooting guard. The point guard starter Damon Stoudamire is 31 and the starting shooting guard Derek Anderson is 30. Both have played good for the Blazers but will eventually retire.
Since they should be looking to draft a guard at 13 or at 23 there are a few players who could fill the needs. At number 13 if Jameer Nelson is left I would draft him. He brings all the skills of a traditional point guard with shooting skills. If not I would draft Ben Gordon who is a perfect combo guard who could play 1 or 2. One of those players should be left at 13.
If they draft Nelson for 23 I would take J.R. Smith who resembles a young Jason Richardson. If they draft Gordon at 13 I would take Sebastien Telfair who could be a great floor leader with time behind Damon Stoudamire.
If neither of the high schoolers are left I would take Kirk Snyder at 23 who could play 2-guard of small forward. So the Blazers should draft a proven college player with their top pick and a potential great with their second pick in the first round."
